Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday said that false allegations were being leveled against the presidency, adding that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had no role in Brigadier (R) Imtiaz issue. He urged all the politicians to unite against this conspiracy. Talking to the journalists at Multan airport Raja Pervez Ashraf stressed that PPP had end Musharrafs rule and they would also try him at appropriate time. Electricity tariff will be raised by 1 rupee per unit because of rental power plants but public will have to bear this price for only 3 years. Meanwhile, electricity generation from alternate sources will start, he added. The minister claimed that electricity shortfall would go down to 400 Mega watts. He maintained that Peoples Party believed in provincial autonomy, adding that provinces were being given their due right through NFC award in the same manner as Gilgit Baltistan was empowered.
