Summary Lahore District Government has released 24 out of 33 arrested doctors from Kot Lakhpat Jail.
According to Dunya News the released doctors have dissociated themselves from the protest movement and have promised to extend cooperation to the authorities.The released doctors will join their duties at the respective places of their postings from Tuesday evening.These doctors were arrested after the Punjab government launched a crackdown against the striking doctors had refused to perform their duties.Almost 13 patients died in last 48 hours due to lack of treatment at different hospitals.
