At least two policemen including an ASI were killed and two others got injured during an alleged encounter with a wanted criminal on Tuesday.The incident took place when a police party was going to raid the suspected hideout of criminals in Chowki Makhiana area of Jhang district.When the police party reached near the area, the criminals opened fire at a police vehicle killing two including assistant sub inspector (ASI) Muhammad Arif.After the attack, police and criminals exchanged fire. However, no arrest has been made so far.Police have launched investigation into the incident.
