Summary KP Home Department has ordered action against illegal Jirgas and mediation committees.
According to an announcement issued by Home Department, disputes of abduction, murder, forced marriages and other issues are settled by these bodies which cause not injustice to parties but the government also has to face administrative problems.The Home Department has also issued direction that legal action should be taken against such jirgas and mediation committees particularly in Hazara Division.Chief Secretary also has directed to take legal action against illegal organizations creating hurdles in the way of welfare projects.
