Summary Judicial Commission has recommended appointment of four additional judges in Peshawar High Court.
It has also been proposed to extend the tenure of four judges for one year more.The Judicial Commission meeting headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was held in Supreme Court where appointment of four additional judges and extension in tenure of four additional judges was reviewed in detail.The commission recommended appointing Shah Jahan Khanzada, Mrs Irshad Qaiser, Asadullah Chimkani and Muhammad Rohul Amin as additional judge in Peshawar High Court while it was proposed to extend the tenure of Justice Khalid Mehmood, Justice Nisar Hussain, Justice Waqar Ahmad Seith and Justice Qaiser Rashid for one year more.
