NAB forms joint team to probe into Arsalan case

Summary NAB chairman says politically motivated cases will not be opened against any one.

Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Fasih Bukhari said that a joint investigation team has been formed to probe into Dr Arsalan Iftikhar graft case. He said the team comprises members from FIA‚ Police and NAB while DIG Financial Crimes will head the team.The team will present a report after investigation of the case, Bukhair said during a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday.Briefing on other cases, Chairman NAB saidtwo hundred and thirty-five billion rupees have been recovered so far and investigation on a number of other cases is underway. He said a probe is also underway into fifty-five billion corruption in Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.Bukhari added that the cases are also being reviewed against Sharif brothers.
