Summary
At least 20 border police personnel (Khasadars) were killed and 3 injured, on Thursday, in a suicide blast in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency. According to sources, Khasadars were breaking their fast outside the post when a bomber blew himself up near them killing 20 Khasadars on the spot. The post has been completely destroyed by the blast. Injured personnel were shifted to the Landi Kotal Headquarter hospital. Security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation after the suicide blast. President, Prime Minister and Chief Minister NWFP have strongly condemned the incident.
