PML-N offers protection to Altaf if returns to face courts

Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) says that it is ready to give protection to Altaf Hussain if he faces life threats in Karachi. PML-N says that Altaf should come to Pakistan to face the courts. A PML-N spokesman said that 1992 Karachi Operation was carried out with the will of Altaf Hussain while the then Army Chief hadnt taken the operations approval by the then prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The spokesman in a statement maintained that when Nawaz Sharif in 1992 ordered the army to launch operation against robbers in Sindh, Altaf Hussain with help of Lt General Nasir Akther got the Karachi and Hyderabad included in the operation to eliminate his opponents. Spokesman added that PML-N was ready for the court investigation. Spokesman elaborated that Jinnah Pur and terrorism issues were two separate issues.
