Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani says suggestion to create new provinces is equal to weakening the federation and the government at this crucial time when the country is facing problems of terrorism, extremism and poverty. Addressing the inaugurating ceremony of the Mango Pulp Plant in Multan the PM said that Musharrafs issue would be settled in the parliament. Gilani maintained the government was fully aware of the inflation, adding that the poverty and terrorism would have to be eliminated from the country. The PM stressed the need to make the national products as per the international standards so that the foreign investors could invest here. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif gave the stature of Big City to Multan and added that small industries should be promoted to increase exports. He believed that the special steps were inevitable for the agricultural and industrial progress.
