Summary Ahmad Mukhtar says if Punjab CM protests against energy crisis,case would be registered against him.
Talking to the media, Federal Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said that controlling energy crisis throughout the country is not an easy task however the government is trying its best to resolve the issue as efforts are on to increase the power generation.Ahmad Mukhtar said that currently the power generation is 10500 MW while the demand is 17500 MW. He said the schedule of loadshedding has been proposed 8 hours for urban areas and 12 hours for rural areas.Mukhtar said he accepted Water and Power Ministry as a challenge and he himself requested the PM for this. He said that it is also a challenge for him to get rid of unannounced loadshedding.
