Summary SNGPL has said that gas supply to power plants would be restored to control the energy crisis.
According to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) authorities, the power sector is defaulter of Rs 27 billion but the gas supply would be restored to reduce problems of the citizens.The power generation would be increased up to 800 MW due to gas supply to power plants.The SNGPL authorities added that 125 million cubic foot gas would be supplied to power sector on Sunday (today).Due to suspension of gas supply, the IPPs are generation 2800MW while thermal power plants are generating 1300 MW less than their capacity.
