Summary
The electricity supply to 16 districts of Balochistan was suspended after the main transmission between Quetta and Sibbi tripped. Main transmission of 220KV between Quetta and Sibbi grid stations tripped on Monday morning plunging 16 districts into darkness. The people had to face problems in Sehri however electricity supply to Quetta and surrounding areas was restored from the Habibullah Costal Power Plant after three hours. QESCO officials believed that the repair work would be completed by evening and the electricity supply to all the districts would be restored.
