Pakistan, China sign MOU to cooperate in fish farming

Pakistan and China have singed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate in the field of river fish farming between the two countries. President Asif Ali Zardari, who is on his fourth presidential tour to China, said that Pakistan would greatly benefit from China in fish farming sector. President Zardari visited Pearl Fisheries Research Institute in Guangzhou. He also went to Ching Lez Memorial Hall. According to the MOU signed between Pakistan and China, the later would provide training to the Pakistani experts in fish farming. President Zardari maintained that Pakistani rivers were enriched with aquatic life. The better farming of the river fish will not only cater to the countrys needs but also help in generating revenue by exporting high quality fish abroad.
