Summary

The security forces have apprehended 39 more militants while 12 others have surrendered during operation Rah-e-Raast in the parts of Swat and Malakand division. According to ISPR on Sunday, 10 militants voluntarily surrendered in presence of local Jirga to security forces at Grid Station near Fatehpur while security forces apprehended three militants from Muslim Baig Sar near Derai. Security forces carried out search operation at Loe Namal and discovered a 25 feet long cave, being used by militants along with arms and ammunition while two militants identified as Said Bahadur and Ezat Mand, voluntarily surrendered before security forces at Madyan. Security forces conducted search operation at Tiligram and Zind Wala near Mangaltan and discovered a tunnel and apprehended 30 suspects, while in another search operation at Chere Gat near Bishban 3 suspects were apprehended and 3 caves destroyed. In another search operation at Nagwa, Dedawar and Dadhrah 3 suspects were apprehended besides defusing an IED.
