Summary PML-N leader Khawaja Asif on Friday challenged Income Tax Ordinance 2001 in the Supreme Court.
As per Article 184 of the Constitution of Pakistan, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif filed a petition in the Supreme Court and took the stance that Schedule 8 of the ordinance shows that it is used to convert the black money into white.The petitioner further maintained that Schedule 8 also negates Article 25 of the constitution. He prayed to the apex court to issue an order of removing this schedule.The federal government and secretary of the law ministry have been made party to the petition.
