President Asif Ali Zardari will embark on a four- day visit to China on Friday, August 21 to boost the multidimensional ties between the two countries with particular emphasis on reviewing progress in dozens of new developmental initiatives undertaken during the last one year. Briefing the media, Spokesperson to the President former Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President will visit Hang Zhou in Zhejiang province and Guangzhou in Guangdong province. Both the provinces are the most leading examples of spectacular economic growth during the past decades. The President will also attend investment forums on Pak China trade and investment opportunities in both the cities which are models of huge economic success, he said. This is the Presidents fourth visit to China since assuming office of the President demonstrating the importance the government attaches to the relations between the two countries and also the seriousness to pursue the new initiatives launched during the last one year, he said.
