PM vows full support on resolution against Musharraf

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) took revenge from the dictator through democracy, Dunya News reported Wednesday. He declared that government will support the resolution for trial of Pervez Musharraf if tabled unanimously and assured the house that I will be the first person to support the resolution. Addressing the National Assembly Prime Minister said, I forgave former President General (R) Pervez Musharraf on his resignation despite the fact that he kept me in prison for five years. The Supreme Court extradited the decision on the parliament to pass a consensus resolution, he added. PM Gilani said if PML-N says they dont have majority to pass the resolution alone, the government can also not decide without taking its allies into confidence.
