Summary DPC announced long march from Karachi to Islamabad against expected resumption of NATO supplies.
Leaders of Difa-i-Council Pakistan Maulana Sami-ul-Haq and Syed Munawar Hassan attended a meeting at Jamaat-e-Islamis central office in Lahore on Saturday.While talking to media after meeting, the leaders said purpose of the long march should not be affiliated with any kind of political interest – in fact – it will only be carried out to preserve countrys sovereignty.DPCmembers also announced countrywide protests and rallies from May 25 and a committee has been formed under the supervision of Liaquat Baloch which will finalise routes for the long march.DPC leaders said government is trying to bypass parliaments resolutions by restoring NATO supply routes.
