30 militants apprehended in swat: ISPR

The security forces have apprehended 30 militants including two commanders while the Local Lashkar rounded up six others as part of on going operation Rah-e-Raast in Swat and Malakand. According to ISPR on Wednesday, security forces conducted search operation at Siakas, Chirhi Banda, Biha and apprehended 30 militants including Nisar alias Ghazi Baba, alongwith plenty of arms and ammunition. Security forces also conducted search operation at Bar Shalpalam, Shangwatai, near Matta and apprehended three militants including a wanted militant Muhammad Rahim while 2 IEDs were defused in Chamtlai. In search operation at Waliabad the security forces apprehended one accomplice of militant Masood Azhar while 5 suspects were rounded up in Tal village. Around 600 Locals of Tutan Banda area carried out a search operation and apprehended 6 militants while security forces on a tip off apprehended a close associate of militant commander Talemand from Najigram.
