Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said the time for wars to resolve problems has ended. He said all the outstanding issues with India including Kashmir‚ Siachin‚ Sir Creek‚ Water and Terrorism would be addressed through dialogues.PM said Pakistan is already discussing Siachen and Sir Creek issues with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a pleasant atmosphere saying issues can never be resolved on the basis of power.Highlighting his achievements,Prime Minister Gilani said despite financial constraints‚ the present government has spent unprecedented one point five trillion rupees on the development projects.He was addressing a seminar on the Role of International NGOs in the Development of Pakistan organized by Muslim Hands‚ in Islamabad.Mr. Gilani pointed out that Pakistan is facing the challenges of extremism and terrorism besides its economy has been affected by the natural disasters.The Prime Minister said according to the damage need assessment‚ Pakistan suffered a loss of about ten billion dollars in addition to human loss in recent floods.The Prime Minister said no country can attain prosperity unless its affluent section of the society come forward and lend a helping hand in pro people initiatives.Prime Minister Gilani said that education and development are integral to each other and Islam believes in equality and discourages concentration of resources.He said to root out the menace of terrorism his governments policies were based on 3Ds - Dialogue‚ Development and at the end usage of Deterrence. He said we are using force as last option but the main emphasis is on the dialogue and development.
