12 suspected militants apprehended: ISPR

The security forces have rounded up 12 suspected militants including a suicide bomber as part of on-going search and cordon operation in Swat and Malakand. According to ISPR on Sunday, security forces conducted search operation at Kalakot near Fatehpur and apprehended Habib Ullah who confessed to be a suicide bomber. In another search operation at Bartana the security forces apprehended 5 suspects and found 3 caves near Loe Namal while at Qambar and Ahingro Derai, near Mingora, two other suspects were apprehended. Security forces conducted search operation at Tarang, Khazana, Ghuraghat and Zarra Khela and demolished 4 militants houses and apprehended 4 suspects while in another search operation at Nadeem Shaheed Post the security forces defused four IEDs, and recovered arms and ammunition. So far, 247,500 cash cards have been distributed amongst the IDPs of Malakand, while 9 trucks loaded with rations have been distributed amongst the Qalgai Lashkar at Kabbal and 50 tons of rations have been handed over to Administration of Tank.
