Talking to media in Islamabad, Petroleum Secretary Ijaz Chaudhry said Afghanistan has sought 54 cents/mmbtu transit fee from India. However, India has agreed to pay 47 cents per mmbtu.Chaudhry said after thorough review of transit fee, Afghanistan set the rate to 50 cents per mmbtu but Indian authorities have delayed the matter to finalise the deal.
