Summary Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has summoned Defence Committee of the Cabinet today.
According to sources, the meeting will discuss Pak-US relationship, implementation of the requisition passed by the joint session of the cabinet and restoration of the NATO supply.The meeting will be attended by Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar, Finance Minister Hafiz Shaikh, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez kayani, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chief of Naval Staff Asif Sandila and Chief of Air Staff Tahir Rafique Butt.It is pertinent to mention here that the schedule of the meeting was changed on Tuesday and it was delayed till Wednesday but later it was announced that the meeting would be held at 7pm today.
