National Assembly has approved a bill for ending the domestic violence. The parliamentarians said that the load shedding had adversely affected the people. The bill for the elimination of the domestic violence was presented by the Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Yasmeem Rehman. The bill aims at making the domestic violence a cognizable crime and protects the women. Two parliamentarians said that power crisis had devastated the industry resulting in unemployment and poverty. Adviser on Finance Shaukat Tareen said that government planned to end the electricity crisis. Bahadur Khan said that the electricity prices should be reduced. Nawab Ghani Talpur said that KESC had failed to deliver. Federal Minister Manzoor Watoo said that sugar was being sell at Rs 34 per kg after being bought at Rs 32 per at the Utility Stores. The session will resume on Wednesday.
