Contempt case: PM to submit reply today

PM Gilani will submit his reply on the contempt charge in the Supreme Court today.

The seven-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk, in the last hearing had asked the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to submit his written reply on march 19 of appear in person on march 21.Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, Prime Minister’s counsel, will submit reply in the Supreme Court on his behalf. After submission of reply, the counsel of the PM will start his arguments from March 21.The Prime Minister was indicted for contempt of court after his failure to address a letter to the Swiss authorities requesting them to re-open closed graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
