Summary

Return of the Malakand Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) residing in Karachi is starting today. In first stage a caravan of above 100 families, 1100 people, will leave for Malakand. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza will send back 100 registered IDPs families to Malakand. ANP provincial ministers Shahi Syed and Amir Nawab will also be present on the occasion. Sindh Government will provide eatables and other essential items to the leaving IDPs. The IDPs will also be given ATM cards worth Rs 25,000 at their return to their homes. Sindh Government has devised a plan to send back all the IDPs in next 15 days. In next stage IDPs from Hyderabad, Karachi and other cities will be sent back to their homes.
