Adviser on Finance Shauket Tareen has submitted papers for the senate seat. Sindh CM also accompanied him on the occasion. Tareen said that IMF had agreed to give a subsidy of Rs 55 billion to the poor. Talking to media after submitting paper from Sindh Tareen said that government had overcome a big economic crisis in 10 months. He said that loans in the international market were not available on less than 15 percent mark-up yet IMF was giving loan on 2.5 percent mark-up. CM Qaim Ali Shah said that other office bearers of the party had also submitted papers for the slot however the ticket was awarded to Tareen on merit.
