4,000 children given awareness under Health Champion Programme
LAHORE ( Dunya News ) – Director General Punjab Food Authority Mudassir Rayaz Malik said on Tuesday the future would only be secured if the children are fit and healthy and for this reason Punjab Food Authority Health Programme has been started.
The DG said the purpose of this programme is to give the awareness to children for the selection of healthy diet and complete training. The children will be provided free nutrition training in schools.
Also, the national hero Arshad Sharif also met with children and urged them to eat balanced diet for staying healthy in their lives because this would help them becoming athlete in the future.
He added apart from study, healthy food is also important as a proper athlete needs to have proper eating habits.
