(Reuters) – Social media users are sharing a protest held in England against the Islamic State in 2014 and claiming that it was shows Afghanistan in 2021.
The photo showing a man and women in chains gained attention online after the Taliban took the country s capital, Kabul, on Aug 15, 2021. Afghan women and girls who have won freedoms they could not have dreamt of under the last Taliban rule that ended 20 years ago.
