Report stated that Trump 'suggested multiple times' to nuke the hurricane off the shore.

UNITED STATES (Dunya News) – United States President Donald Trump on Monday rebuffed the report that suggest he plans to nuke a massive hurricane to stop it in its tracks.

Report stated that Trump has “suggested multiple times” to the top officials that they should scrutinize the matter and consider dropping a nuclear bomb to stop the disastrous hurricane before reaching the shoreline.

On Sunday, Axios, citing unnamed sources, reported that the US President has made remarks to the Homeland Security and other top officials about the plan. Axios’ sources rephrased the comments of Trump about the formation of the hurricanes off the coast of Africa. "As they’re moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can’t we do that?" he reportedly asked.

According to an international news agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported that the nuclear option is a bad idea. "Apart from the fact that this might not even alter the storm, this approach neglects the problem that the released radioactive fallout would fairly quickly move with the trade-winds to affect land areas and cause devastating environmental problems," the website read.

The source said those present in the meeting were astonished. Trump reportedly inquired about the use of a nuclear bomb on more than one occasion.

Trump took to Twitter on Monday to call the report “ridiculous.”
