Police have arrested a domestic worker for stealing six tolas of jewellery from renowned qawwal Sher Miandad’s Lahore residence.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police in Lahore have registered a case following a burglary at the residence of renowned qawwal Sher Miandad in the Chuhng area.
According to authorities, the theft was carried out by a domestic worker employed at Sher Miandad’s home. Six tolas of jewellery were stolen while Miandad and his family were away attending a wedding ceremony.
Police swiftly apprehended the suspect and recovered the stolen jewellery, which had been hidden in the courtyard of her residence. Authorities confirmed that further investigations are underway to ascertain all details of the crime.
The accused is now facing legal action under relevant laws, with police continuing inquiries into the case.
