The Islamabad High Court has granted protective bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala in gambling app and cybercrime cases, directing authorities not to arrest them upon arrival.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Islamabad High Court has granted protective bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala in cases linked to a gambling application and alleged cybercrime violations.
The relief, approved until tomorrow, directs authorities not to arrest the two social media personalities upon their arrival at Islamabad International Airport. The order was issued after their legal team expressed their intention to return to Pakistan to face the charges.
Justice Inam Ameen Minhas presided over the hearing on the petition filed by both men seeking protective bail. During the proceedings, their counsel, Advocate Ahed Khokhar, informed the court that his clients were prepared to appear before the trial court and wished to cooperate fully with the legal process. He argued that the petitioners should be allowed to re-enter the country without the risk of immediate arrest so they could present themselves before the appropriate judicial forum.

Advocate Khokhar emphasised that the petitioners intended to submit to the ongoing investigation and were not seeking to evade legal scrutiny. He requested that the court provide them with protective bail for their return and grant sufficient time for them to appear before the trial court.
Following the arguments, the court approved the protective bail for both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Nani Wala until tomorrow. The order explicitly restrains law enforcement agencies from arresting them upon landing at Islamabad International Airport. The court also directed both individuals to appear before the Islamabad High Court as required.
The protective bail allows the petitioners to avoid immediate detention and ensures they have the opportunity to join the proceedings related to the allegations against them. Both men are reportedly facing inquiries connected to promotional activity involving a gambling application, along with claims tied to cybercrime offences under relevant laws.
