FIR launched for leaking video clips of SRK's Jawan online prior to film's release

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - A First Information Report (FIR) was launched against some social media users for leaking the scenes of Jawan online.
According to Indian media, video clips of Jawan were leaked online prior to the release of movie in violation of the Copyright Act.
The news came at a time when Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan is all geared up for the release of his second biggest film of the year.
SRK’s wife Gauri Khan filed a complaint against an unidentified individual for stealing and leaking the video clips of Jawan.
The FIR said that the stolen clips of the much-anticipated film were shared on social media.
Jawan is a highly-anticipated action thriller movie directed by Atlee Kumar. It is co-produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Gupta under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
The film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathiin in the main roles. Deepika Padukone also has a special appearance in the film.
The movie would be released worldwide on September 7.
