Summary The last rituals of legend ghazal singer Jagjit Singh would be held today.
Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh, who died Monday of cerebral haemorrhage, will be cremated at south Mumbai’s Chandanwadi Crematorium at 4.30pm Tuesday.The cremation is expected to draw several celebrities along with his relatives from native Rajasthan.The legendary singer died at the age of 70, after being treated for brain haemorrhage since he was admitted to Bandra’s Lilavati Hospital on September 23.He was to perform with Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali on the day he was taken to hospital.Singh leaves behind wife Chitra Singh, also a ghazal singer.
