Shabbir Rana's son Azlan Shah had confirmed the death of his father
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Shabbir Rana, a senior actor of Pakistani drama industry, passed away in Karachi after prolonged illness.
Shabbir Rana, a senior actor of Pakistan TV industry, was suffering from heart disease, suffered a heart attack during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and was undergoing treatment at the National Cardiovascular Institute for the past several days.
Shabbir Rana's son Azlan Shah had confirmed the death of his father on Instagram.
Shabbir Rana was associated with the advertising industry for a long time, while as a director he also directed numerous TV commercials. Later he joined the drama industry as an actor.
The veteran actor worked in television dramas for more than 4 decades, including Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain, Qaid e Tanhai, Bey Inteha, Mohabbat Zindagi Hai.
The funeral prayer of the late actor was offered at Rahmaniya Masjid Tariq Road after Asr prayer.
