Gal Gadot bears the brunt for pro-Israel stance
(Web Desk) - The Israeli actor Gal Gadot, famed for playing DC comics Wonder Woman, has received a severe backlash on Twitter for releasing a pro-Israel statement regarding the ongoing atrocities in Palestine. The actor took to social media and shared her concerns over the current scenario.
“My heart breaks. My country is at war. I worry for my family, my friends. I worry for my people," wrote the actor in a post shared on various social media platforms including Twitter and Instagram.
"This is a vicious cycle that has been going on for far too long. Israel deserves to live as a free and safe nation. Our neighbors deserve the same,” she stated.
“I pray for the victims and their families, I pray for this unimaginable hostility to end, I pray for our leaders to find the solution so we could live side by side in peace. I pray for better days,” the Wonder Woman star concluded.
However her playing the victim didn’t sit well with the social media users who called out the actor for siding with the oppressors.
