Joaquin Phoenix offered $50 Million for two 'Joker' sequels
(Web Desk) – A report by The Mirror says that versatile actor Joaquin Phoenix has been offered a whopping $50million deal to reprise his role in two sequels of 2019’s Joker, according to sources.
Phoenix received a plethora of awards for his role in the movie and is now in talks to return for two more movies.
The deal is still under negotiation but the scripts are being written and Joaquin is very involved in the project, says the source.
It says WB were “as shocked as anyone” by the film’s success last year. They plan to make two sequels in the next four years, one in 2022 and another in 2024, with a long-term commitment to Joaquin and his Joker director Todd Phillips and producer Bradley Cooper.
