Actor Agha Ali voices support for Turkish actors getting work in Pakistan
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Actor Agha Ali has come out in support for Turkish actress Esra Bilgic, after her appointment as a Pakistani company’s brand ambassador drew criticism from some artists in the Pakistani industry.
Fellow actor Yasir Hussain had questioned Esra being made the company’s brand ambassador, saying that they should have selected a Pakistani artist instead.
Agha Ali, while not naming Yasir, denounced his views saying that all actors strive for international recognition and we should welcome foreign talent.
In an Instagram post, Agha wrote that people should not be worried about losing work to foreign artists as they will receive all that is written in their fate regardless. He said that we should make foreign talent feel welcome in our country instead of being insecure.
