Cinemas across Punjab to enjoy one-year tax exemption
Punjab government has reduced the entertainment duty to five percent from 20 percent in the budget.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government has exempted cinemas across the province from paying tax for one year.
According to the notification, the tax will be exempted from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. However, newly-constructed cinemas will enjoy this relaxation for five years.
It is to be mentioned here that Punjab government has reduced the entertainment duty to five percent from 20 percent in the budget.
