Pakistani makeup artist pays artistic tribute to Noor Jehan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Shoaib Khan, a makeup artist, has paid an emotional and creative tribute to the legend Noor Jehan, Malika-e-Tarannum, the queen of melody.
“Growing up in the era of PTV one could not help but be mesmerised not only just by the most melodious voice you will ever hear but a true comprehension of beauty of Maleeka-e-tarannum *Madam Noor Jehan*,” the makeup artist shared.
“I still remember watching her on TV and feeling star struck in an instant. This is my attempt to send a tribute to this everlasting symbol of beauty.”
According to local news agency, Khan took his beauty skills to the next level by making an emotional tribute to the legend on Instagram, with fans doing a double-take on the uncanny resemblance.
Khan donned an emerald green ensemble as well as styled hair with a flower on the side. And we have to say, it’s hard to tell the difference with an identical picture of Jehan and Khan side-by-side, right down to the statement jewelry and beauty mark near the lip.
He is known for recreating famous characters and personalities, taking to social media to share his looks. Recently, Khan transformed himself into Joaquin’s Phoenix’s villainous character Joker, as well as Angelina Jolie’s misunderstood black fairy Maleficent.
On what it means for what it means to be an artist on a personal level, Khan previously revealed, “Being an artist we feel every emotion more than any other person, and you can see those emotions through our work.”
