Sanam Saeed raises voice against ban on Shamoon Abbasi's film 'Durj'
(Dunya News) – Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed has raised her voice against ban on the release of film ‘Durj’.
The actress took to social networking website Twitter and asked, “Why are films like Durj banned. If Hollywood films with all their sexual innuendos and violence and dark topics can play in our cinemas then why can t our independent out of the box films like Durj be played??”

It is to be mentioned here that Durj was due to release on October 11 across the world and on October 18 in Pakistan, however, all the censor boards had banned it.
Durj is based on three real-life incidents including the story of two brothers who dug over 100 graves and ate corpses.
