Pakistani celebrities raise voice on Kasur child murder incident
Nadia Jamil expressed that it was devastating to see what was done to the minor boys.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – After the tragic incident of three minors boys in Chunian area of Kasur, Pakistani actresses Nadia Jamil and Mahira Khan condemned the child abuse and raised voice for justice.
Nadia Jamil took to Twitter and expressed that it was devastating to see what was done to the minor boys, “Uff. I worked in Kasur for a long time. It was devastating to see what was done to those children. How little justice they have received. How many men were involved.”

She continue saying that we have failed our children contiuously, “We forget children so fast. Because they dont tweet. They have no voice of their own. Most of them are poor. We forget what they need. We just let it slip past us in a buzz of other oh so important news. When we are the only protection they have. We fail our children constantly.”

Jamil recalled the horrific Zainab rape case, “A brief peek, some noise and then oblivious sleep while more kids are killed, abused, rape. No plan in place. Ridiculous. When will CHILDREN MATTER ENOUGH. When will the government LISTEN!”

She requested the Prime Minister Imran Khan to prioritize child protected in the country, “And now hear more screams in your head. Frightened little boys. Babies. There whole life ahead of them. Their time to play and laugh. And what did we let them be exposed to. Our failure. Child protection is a MUST. It is the only priority. I beg you @ImranKhanPTI”

Hamza Ali Abbasi also condemned the brutal act and said that much is needed to be fixed in the country.

Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal also expressed shame on the Kasur incident and said that we all have failed as a civilized society.

On Sept. 17, Three children, who were abducted months ago from different places, were found dead in the area of Chunian, tehsil of Kasur District. Children were identified as Salman, Muhammad Imran and Muhammad Faizan. It has been reported that the children were murdered after getting sexually tortured.
Skeletal remains of the two boys were found at a deserted place in Chunian Industrial Estate area.
