Indian actress wants India to be a 'Hindu nation'
Payal Rohatgi is a staunch supporter of Modi's ideology
(Web Desk) – Payal Rohatgi has often been in the headlines for her Twitter rows, be it her fanatic views aimed at glorifying the Indian ritual of ‘Sati’ or the latest demand of hers for India to be the first ‘Hindu’ country on the atlas.
Payal has done a few movies and has participated in a number of Indian reality shows including Big Boss season two.
She is a staunch supporter of Modi’s ideology of India being known as a Hindu country, like so many other Muslim and Christian countries.
Payal Rohatgi stated that she wants such a step.
‘So that there is one place in the world where ‘Hindus’ are not treated as garbage,’ she added.
She is of the view that Hindus were removed from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
‘In past countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh have been forcefully carved out of India. Thus, in present times the Hindus only have India. India could be declared a Hindu nation and yet remain secular just like Dubai (UAE) is an Islamic country yet it has secular credentials,’ she added.
Payal presumes that the incidents of cow lynching will stop once minorities realize the sacredness of cows in the Hindu religion.
