Witnesses termed the allegations to be fallacious

(Web Desk) – After SC orders for a speedy completion of the trial in Ali Zafar-Meesha Shafi harassment case. Seven witnesses from Ali Zafar’s side submitted their affidavits in session court today.

As per details, additional session judge, Justice Amjad Ali Shah presided over the defamation law suit filed by Ali Zafar against Meesha Shafi.

During the course of the hearing, all seven witnesses categorically denied the allegations of harassment laid by Meesha on  Ali Zafar, recalling the day’s event each one of them stated that on the rehearsal day 11 people were present in the studio, the song rehearsal went on for 45 minutes and no such instance was observed by anyone.

The witnesses in the affidavit stated that Meesha while entering the studio met with Ali Zafar quite warmly and left the premises in a good mood. Stunned at the false accusations laid by Meesha Shafi on Ali Zafar, they termed the allegations to be fallacious.

The session‘s court after admitting the affidavits summoned Meesha Shafi’s lawyers for cross-examining the witnesses on May 29.
