John Abraham not for war against a country or religion
You must take a stand if youre politically aware
(Web Desk) – Amongst the cross border insanity, that almost brought war to our homes, John Abraham has spoken up and gave his point of view regarding actors and political charged trending statements.
According to media reports, John was of the opinion that statements should only be made by artists, if they are aware of the political scenario and not just to trend.
“You must take a stand if you’re politically aware. You shouldn’t be stupidly talented. You cannot be an idiot who doesn’t know which country lies where,’ he said.
He further said, ‘if you don’t know what’s happening in Behar to Syria then you should just shut up! And smile, show your mug that you have done so much work on, don’t talk! Unless your aware about what’s happening then only make a statement if not then don’t make a statement.
Talking about the current war scenario he was against waging war against a country, people or religion, he wanted a concerted effort against rooting out terrorism.
‘There has to be a war against terror, not against a country or against a religion, religions or between religions. I might get picked on but I’m not one of the actors that sits on the fence, I’m saying things as they are there has to be war on terror, you have to nip the rose in the bud, it has to be over and done with but it doesn’t mean you have to fight with another country, stereotype people. The most dangerous things across the world is polarization and stereotyping,’ he added.
