Fakhar-e-Alam becomes first Pakistani to circumnavigate globe
Alam was briefly detained by the Russian authorities.
(Web Desk) – Singer-turned-activist Fakhar-e-Alam has on Sunday accomplished his Mission Prwaaz and became the first Pakistani ever to circumnavigate the globe in as many as 28 days.
Alam took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter and wrote, “Mission Parwaaz will come to an end tomorrow November 3rd 3:30pm at Tampa Bay Aviation 1000 N Hercules Ave, Clearwater Florida 33765. Come join me to bring the first successful Pakistani circumnavigation home.”

During the course of his Mission Parwaaz, Alam was briefly detained by the Russian authorities as his visa had expired. However, after intervention of Pakistani envoy, he was allowed to continue his travel.
