He wanted her to look completely different and interestingly forceful and persuasive as a rebel and a progressive journalist absolutely opposite to her character ‘Jaggat Jannani’ Funny Name, I must say!

Anushka Sharma played two characters in Pari Rukhsana and Pari. Pari was a new sort of horror drama. Anushka look mysterious with her freckles filled face with blue eyes and daunting with blood filled face-long cuts, life less empty red eyes with the damp messy curls on her face.
She has been given the looks by a special artist who had joined the team of Pari from Paris, Clover.
