Shahrukh earns Reham's adoration in controversial book
I was impressed by his professionalism and his lack of arrogance
(Web Desk) – While Reham Khan, ex-wife of cricketer-turned-politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan may have been unkind to her ex-husband in her controversial book, it is Shahrukh Khan who has earned the author’s adoration.
The former BBC weather girl was working with a news portal in 2008 when she crossed Shahrukh Khan’s path. It was the actor’s humble nature that won Reham Khan over.
"...I became the face of a leading personal injury firm, and popularized the catchphrase "Don t delay, Claim Today". One of their adverts was targeted at the Pakistani and Indian community and became extremely popular as I appeared in it next to The King of Bollywood," writes Reham in her book.
“I was impressed by his professionalism and his lack of arrogance; this was an educated, well-brought up man of a middle-class family; friendly, with polite restraint, and not one bit of the diva he could so easily have been.”
"The commercial was shot in 2008 after an event at the Olympia, the London Mela, organized by a private Indian channel. I hosted a stage for the stars to meet and greet the fans," she continues.
