The young fans of these characters transform themselves into these frightening and creepy characters. This practice is known as cosplay or fan costuming.

Cosplay is a contraction of the words costume play. It is a hobby in which participants called cosplayers. They take avatar of a specific character by putting on their costumes, accessories and gadgets.
The charcters from anime, cartoons, comic books, live-action films, television series and video games are considered the hot favourites.

The rapid growth in the number of people cosplaying as a hobby since 1990s has made the phenomenon a significant aspect of popular culture in many parts of the world.
The attraction has made its way to Pakistan. Obsessive of their favorite characters, youth in Lahore transform themselves into their favourite characters.
They took the quaint and impulsive get ups of their much beloved and well-known superheroes and supervillains.
Superman, Iron Man, Zombies and Batman’s desi attires were gathered in a local place in Lahore to display their frenzy for their distinctive and much moved characters. The unique outfit, scary masks and makeup and sole accessories won the hearts of the people visited them.

To make people more into the cosplay whirl, Cartoon toys, intimidating masks and animated films and comic characters’ gadgets and costume were also being displayed in this indifferent fan convention.
