Veteran actor Sajid Hussain to contest election on PPP's ticket

(Web Desk) – Veteran actor Sajid Hasan will contest general elections 2018 on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket. Sajid took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter to make the announcement.
He tweeted, “Have just been informed that my party PPP has granted me ticket to contest the present elections .. feel both gratitude and humbled by the honour bestowed .. Allah julle shanho ka sud shukur .. thank you Chairman and co chairman for reposing such precious confidence on me”.

In a very next tweet, Hasan revealed that he would contest elections from NA-256.
“NA 256 .. yes granted that I may not have a chance but it feels good to be contesting from Areas that I spent my entire childhood and formative years .. I love my Karachi .. given a chance I promise to work toward bringing peace and prosperity to it .. honestly”.
